TORONTO – (November 26, 2014) – WeUsThem Inc. is pleased to announce that today, Faten Alshazly, Chief Creative Officer, is the first Nova Scotian to be named Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.

The Top 100 Awards recognize Canada’s strong, fearless female leaders who have become agents of change in reshaping Canadian organizations at the highest levels. The Arts and Communications category recognizes leaders who have made a significant impact in the industry in their communities and across Canada.

“Being the first in Nova Scotia to win in the Arts and Communications category is a testament to Faten’s hard work and desire to make creative change,” says Ashwin Kutty, President and CEO of WeUsThem. “Her courageous determination and tenacity to make change, combined with her pleasant nature is exactly why she’s one of Canada’s Top 100. It also speaks volumes to the team we are building at WeUsThem and the caliber of services we provide to our client partners.”

The Top 100 Awards celebrate and highlight professional achievements of women across the country in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors at a time when corporate Canada is undergoing pressure to promote more female leaders into board and executive office positions.

“Despite ever-changing styles and tastes, great leadership is timeless,” says WXN founder, Pamela Jeffery. “Top 100 Award Winners are a testament to the incredible range of female talent and leadership in Canada and proof that change is happening, with more women earning a place at the highest levels of Canadian organizations.”
